The Justice in July Jamboree was a community event held in Rialto, CA on Saturday, July 23, 2017. Members from our team were there representing the Public Defender’s Department, specifically giving information on Proposition 47. “We had a lot of people asking questions,” Deputy Public Defender IV Alan Messarra said.
Senator Connie M. Leyva (District 20), Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes (District 47), and City of Rialto Mayor Deborah Robertson attended the event.
The event was sponsored by the Time for Change Foundation. Ms. Kim Carter is the founder for Time for Change.
