On February 9, 2022, San Bernardino County Public Defender staff assisted more than 130 community members seeking to clear their felony and misdemeanor records at the county’s job fair in Barstow. The fair brought more than 1,000 job opportunities along with community services to High Desert residents. This successful event was organized by the county Workforce Development Board in collaboration with Board of Supervisors Vice Chair and 3rd District Supervisor Dawn Rowe, the City of Barstow, El Dorado Broadcasting, and the Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce.
