Join us for our next MOBILE DEFENSE PROGRAM EVENT at the Joshua Tree Community Resource Fair!

The Mobile Defense Program is a partnership between the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office and the San Bernardino Superior Court. It is committed to bringing free legal assistance to the remote areas of San Bernardino County, ensuring equitable access to justice through mobile court services by providing Record Clearing Expungement Services and Mobile Court access for San Bernardino County cases.

Mobile Court Services:

  • Requests to Clear Bench Warrants
  • Modifying Misdemeanor Summary Probation
  • Re-enrollment in Court-Required Classes
  • Resolution of Outstanding Fines

Pre-registration for Mobile Court is required in advance.

Please note: Legal Assistance is only available for cases within San Bernardino County.

San Bernardino Superior Court will also be available to provide Self-Help services, answering questions regarding Family Law, Child Support, Guardianship, Landlord/Tenant, and Small Claims court procedures.

Multiple San Bernardino County departments will be available with services and resources for the community, such as health screenings and access to benefits.

  • Arrowhead Regional Medical Center – health services and resources
  • Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk – vital records, document recording, business filings and property information
  • Department of Behavioral Health – mental health and substance use resources
  • Department of Child Support Services – assistance with cases and benefits
  • Department of Public Health – dental care services and screenings
  • Human Resources Department – county job opportunities and career counseling
  • Transitional Assistance Department – social service information, application assistance, document services and case support
  • Workforce Development Department – Job resources & support

The Joshua Tree Community Resource Fair is a monthly event organized by San Bernardino County Special Districts, in collaboration with the Morongo Unified School District, connecting the Morongo Basin to county resources and local providers.
