As the new school year begins, our department proudly supported several Back-to-School events aimed at families in our community. Last month, our Social Workers participated in the Victor Valley Rescue Mission Resource Fair in Victorville and the IE Rebound 2nd Annual Backpack Giveaway in San Bernardino.
These important events provided an opportunity to connect with local families, offering free access to essential resources such as backpacks, clothing, shoes, haircuts, and school supplies. At our table, we were able to provide backpacks, games, and prizes to the families who stopped by.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the event organizers for allowing us to be part of these special outreach events that serve the families in our communities.
