On July 30, 2020, the San Bernardino County Superior Court hosted a virtual town hall, “Civil Unrest and Racism: What Are We Doing?” San Bernardino County Public Defender Christopher Gardner spoke, along with Fifth District Supervisor Josie Gonzales, 47th District Assemblymember Eloise Reyes-Gomez, District Attorney Jason Anderson, Undersheriff Shannon Dicus, Assistant Executive Officer CaSonya Thomas of Health and Human Services, and San Bernardino County Bar Association President Eugene Kim. Judge John M. Pacheco, Judge Khymberli S. Apaloo, and Judge Winston Keh moderated the panel. Presiding Judge Michael A. Sachs gave opening remarks.
